Ethics at work in Switzerland, Singapore and Canada

Employee views are a key indicator of the Ethical and Stewardship temperature in today’s organisations. They are at the heart of ethical business values. Their practices and behaviours towards ethics and stewardship at work are vital in gauging to what extent Stewardship is indeed rooted into the organisation.

In 2018, the Stewardship Institute will conduct with The Institute of Businesss Ethics (IBE) a triennial survey into employees’ views of ethics at work. The study will cover Switzerland, Singapore and Canada.

The IBE Ethics at Work Survey asks employees about

their attitudes to ethics in the workplace

what they think is acceptable, as well as management attitudes

their experience of ethics at work

5

whether they feel they work for an honest organisation; are aware of misconduct; the types of misconduct and whether they were willing to raise concerns

if they felt pressure to compromise ethical standards, and what that pressure might be

5

if they felt pressure to compromise ethical standards, and what that pressure might be

what support for ethics at work they receive

5

whether through codes of ethics, training, helplines or incentives

Reports will be published in the third quarter of 2018
